The Open 13 Provence will take place from February 10 to 16 in Marseille.

In a few days' time, we'll know who will succeed Ugo Humbert, who beat Grigor Dimitrov in last year's final.

In anticipation of the draw next weekend, the French tournament organizers have unveiled the three players who will receive invitations to take part in the main draw.

As announced in the last few days, Daniil Medvedev, whose confidence and results in 2024 are lacking and who was eliminated in the second round of the Australian Open by Learner Tien, will take part in the tournament thanks to a wild card.

"Former world number 1 Daniil Medvedev returns to Marseille for his 5th appearance. With 20 ATP titles to his name, including the US Open 2021, the Russian is no stranger to big stages and intense matches.

In 2023, he reached several major finals, consolidating his status among the world's tennis elite. Medvedev hopes to shine again at the Palais des Sports, a venue where he triumphed in 2021 and left his mark on the world," reads a statement on the tournament website.

Meanwhile, Richard Gasquet continues his farewell tour. After Bercy last year and Montpellier this week, the 38-year-old Frenchman will be in Bouches-du-Rhône for the last time in his career.

"The darling of the French public, Richard Gasquet is also among the guests at this year's event. With 16 ATP titles to his name, he is a key figure in French tennis.

A semi-finalist on several occasions, Gasquet is returning to a tournament that is close to his heart, where he hopes to delight his Marseille fans one last time with his legendary backhand," explains the organizers.

Finally, Stan Wawrinka is also continuing his Tour de France. Present in Montpellier, where he was eliminated from the start by Arthur Cazaux, the almost 40-year-old Swiss champion will also be taking part in this 2025 edition of the Marseille tournament.

"Stan Wawrinka, the living legend of tennis, is making his comeback in Marseille. With three Grand Slam titles (Australian Open 2014, French Open 2015, US Open 2016) and an impressive 16 ATP titles, the Swiss is synonymous with power and elegance on the court.

For his 6th appearance at the Open 13 Provence, Wawrinka returns to a tournament he knows well, where he has already reached the quarter-finals three times", concludes the official Open 13 Provence website.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.

What a finish this is.. I believe King has used his boost for today. Skelp is closing strong. Two wins and he claims 1st if I lose my last prediction.

Gonna be difficult with only 2 pointers to choose from.
