Halys, at the end of the suspense, wins against Walton
Quentin Halys came from two sets down to defeat Adam Walton 4-6, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6, 7-5.
Despite trailing by two sets and with the crowd rooting for Walton, Halys rallied to turn the match around.
He relied in particular on his good serve, hitting 31 aces.
In the second round, Halys will face another Frenchman, Arthur Fils, who won earlier in the day against Otto Virtanen.
