"I have a game that can allow me to challenge them and win matches," Rune confident about his chances against Alcaraz and Sinner
In an interview shared by *Punto de Break*, Holger Rune discussed the difficulty of facing Alcaraz and Sinner, the two best players on the tour. While he praised their qualities, the Dane expressed confidence about their future matchups.
"Obviously, being able to consistently play at their level makes a difference. The question is which players can reach that level and have a chance to beat them. We’ve already seen it in the past. Of course, Carlos has had an excellent winning streak. With Jannik, they’ve managed to stay very consistent. It’s very difficult because it requires a lot of dedication.
That’s also what I’m working on because I truly believe I have a strong game that can, as I’ve shown in the past, allow me to challenge them and win matches. It’s very interesting. These are the players you want to compete against in the biggest finals. I feel that, in my case, the more often I can do it, the more my level will improve as well."
Currently, Rune has a tight record against both players: 2-2 against Alcaraz and 2-3 against Sinner.
