The Laver Cup Announces a New Addition to Team Europe
Created by Roger Federer and held annually since 2017, the Laver Cup showcases the best players on the ATP tour. Each year, two teams compete: Team Europe and Team World.
While Alcaraz, Zverev, and Rune have already been confirmed for this year's edition, they will be joined by another top player from the tour. A regular at the event, Norway's Casper Ruud has been added to the roster and will compete in the tournament for the 5th consecutive year. He will have the tough task of helping his team defend their title, which they won last year in Berlin.
As a reminder, the team will be captained by Yannick Noah, a former world No. 4 and the 1983 Roland-Garros champion. The competition will take place from September 19 to 21 at the Chase Center in San Francisco (USA).
