I want to be the best I can be, says Venus Williams

Venus Williams is making her return to the US Open, where she hasn't played since 2023. Now 45 years old, the American legend wants to give it her all while also having fun on the court.

In an interview for the US Open, she states: "I want to be the best I can be, and that's what I expect from myself.

That's all a player can ask for. I've played less than others, and that's a completely different challenge. I'm just trying to have fun, stay calm, and give my best."

She will face Karolina Muchova this Monday in the night session at Flushing Meadows.
