I was very surprised by how the third set unfolded, Sabalenka analyzes her victory over Swiatek

Aryna Sabalenka appeared at a press conference after her impressive win against Iga Swiatek and her qualification for her first Roland-Garros final.

She reflected on her third set, which she won 6-0—a true feat against Swiatek on clay.

"Honestly, I was very surprised by how the third set went. I found the right rhythm on my serve again, which made me really happy. After that, it became easier.

I told myself I had better control over my serve. And I also started putting more pressure on her serve.

I think the second game was the key moment of the set, and after that, I managed to raise my level even more and put even more pressure on my opponent.

After those first two games, like I said, she was under pressure. I felt like I was playing well and putting pressure on her. And I’m happy it worked out and that I won the set.
