Naomi Osaka brilliantly secured her spot in the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 in Montreal by defeating Anastasija Sevastova with a score of 6-0, 6-1.

In a press conference, she expressed satisfaction with her level of play and shared her ambitions: "I talked about it with my dad, and he told me that being healthy and happy is already a form of success.

I agree, but I want more. Of course, I’d love to win Grand Slam tournaments, of course, I’d love to be in the Top 10, but I think you have to take it step by step and set smaller goals first, which will then become more ambitious.

Making it to the quarterfinals here is a stepping stone toward, hopefully, the semifinals and the final, so I’ll try to look at it that way.
