"It's one of my best matches in a very long time," Raducanu relishes her victory over Vondrousova

Emma Raducanu is back in the third round of Wimbledon. The British player, who reached the round of 16 last year on the London grass, delivered a highly polished performance to defeat Marketa Vondrousova, the tournament's winner two years ago (6-3, 6-3).
In this clash between Grand Slam champions, it was the younger of the two who came out on top. Raducanu, who will face world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka for a spot in the round of 16, shared her thoughts after her victory over the Czech player.
"I’m feeling really, really good—it was a very good match from me. I knew playing against Marketa (Vondrousova) would be a real challenge. She’s already won Wimbledon.
Right now, she’s in really great form, especially after her title in Berlin. I’m very proud of how I played today (Wednesday) and how I kept pushing myself on the court.
I think it’s one of my best matches in a very long time, and I’m proud of that. At the same time, it gives me a lot of confidence. Generally, I execute my usual game patterns quite well, but it was even better in this match.
I’m really happy to have shown such a level. I believe there’s no better feeling than winning on Centre Court at Wimbledon. Honestly, all the hard work is worth it when you experience moments like these.
You forget the ups and downs you’ve had on the tour over the last few months of competition when you win like this," Raducanu concluded for Punto De Break.
