Keys Advances to Quarterfinals at Queen’s

Madison Keys has seamlessly transitioned from clay to grass. After reaching the quarterfinals at Roland-Garros, the world No. 8 expressed her eagerness to play on grass, a surface that allows her to fully unleash her powerful game.

The reigning Australian Open champion made a strong start in her debut at the WTA 500 Queen’s Club tournament on Wednesday, defeating Anastasia Zakharova (world No. 111) 6-3, 6-2. Keys converted six of thirteen break points and won 80% of the points behind her first serve.

In the quarterfinals, she will face the winner of the match between Katie Boulter and Diana Shnaider.
