Korda, Hurkacz, and Thompson Added to Toronto Withdrawal List
The wave of withdrawals from the Toronto Masters 1000 continues.
Following those of Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, and Jack Draper yesterday, three more players have announced their withdrawal from the main draw.
The first is none other than Sebastian Korda, who has been absent from the tour since Roland-Garros and has still not recovered from his tibia fracture. He will already miss this week's tournament in Washington, where he is the defending champion.
Next are Hubert Hurkacz and Jordan Thompson. Hurkacz underwent knee arthroscopy earlier this month, while Thompson has not played since retiring in the Wimbledon round of 16.
These withdrawals allow Aleksandar Kovacevic, Christopher O’Connell, and Vit Kopriva to enter the main draw.
