Reported as withdrawn by Spanish media, Alcaraz finally on his way to Toronto?
Carlos Alcaraz, who lost in the Wimbledon final eight days ago, is currently taking a break and enjoying a well-deserved vacation in Spain.
Yesterday, the media outlet Marca revealed that the world No. 2 would withdraw from the Toronto Masters 1000 to fully focus on the Cincinnati tournament (August 7-18). However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Alcaraz has not yet made a final decision about his participation in Canada.
"He is considering returning to Toronto, we haven’t decided yet," his agent Albert Molina told the Italian media.
The player and his team are expected to make a decision soon, as the Canadian Open begins this Sunday.
