Leo Borg Shows Up in Stockholm: Björn's Son Scores the Biggest Win of His Career

Invited for the fifth consecutive year to the Stockholm tournament, Leo Borg has finally made it count. Winning his opening match in straight sets, he provided a nice moment for the Swedish audience.

The Stockholm tournament will continue to rally behind Leo Borg. The son of tennis icon Björn won his first round on Monday against Sebastian Ofner (6-3, 6-4). Ranked 622nd in the world this week, Borg received an invitation from the organizers for the fifth year in a row.

This marks his first victory in the Swedish capital and his second career win on the ATP Tour after Bastad in 2023, where he defeated his compatriot Elias Ymer.

The 22-year-old player will have a tough task in the second round against Denis Shapovalov, the tournament winner in 2019.
