Masters 1000 in Toronto: Mannarino, Royer, Herbert, and Blanchet know their opponents in the main draw
The Toronto Masters 1000 qualifications took place yesterday, but some matches had to be completed on Sunday due to weather conditions.
As a result, many players who had secured their place in the main draw did not yet know their opponents, even though the tournament officially started today. The final draw was revealed on Sunday morning in Toronto, with four French players having successfully come through the qualifications.
Adrian Mannarino will face Marcos Giron, Pierre-Hugues Herbert will play against Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Ugo Blanchet will challenge Roman Safiullin, and Valentin Royer will face Nicolas Arseneault, a wild card ranked 626th in the world.
Gaël Monfils and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, already present in the main draw, were also waiting for the end of the qualifications. They will respectively face Tomas Barrios Vera and Shintaro Mochizuki.
