Moya denies possible arrival in Sinner's team

Jannik Sinner will experience a change in his team starting next season. The world number 1 will indeed see Darren Cahill, one of his coaches who has contributed to his progress for several years, retire at the end of 2025.

To take over from the Australian, Sinner seemed to have made Carlos Moya his priority, and some media even mentioned an agreement between the two parties for a collaboration starting in early 2026.

However, the former Spanish professional player himself has denied this information to RNE (Radio Nacional de España) in recent hours. The former coach of Milos Raonic and former member of Rafael Nadal’s team is therefore, unless there is a change of situation, not expected to work with the three-time Grand Slam winner.

"It's fake news, big as a house," stated Moya. While Simone Vagnozzi will continue to work alongside his protégé despite Cahill's upcoming departure, Sinner still needs to find the latter's successor.
