Müller Solid in Defeating Ugo Carabelli to Reach the Second Round in Monte-Carlo

Alexandre Müller will advance to the second round in Monaco. The Frenchman, who lost in the quarterfinals last week in Marrakech against Majchrzak (102nd), bounced back this Monday at the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000.

Facing qualifier Camilo Ugo Carabelli, Müller needed just one break in each set to secure a 6-4, 6-4 victory in an hour and a half of play.

For his next match, the difficulty level will rise as he will face either Daniil Medvedev or Karen Khachanov.
