Nadal on the Sinner case: "It's not good for tennis, but it's an accident that happens in life"
Rafael Nadal gave an interview to *The Telegraph*, a British newspaper. When asked about the Sinner case, Rafa defended the Italian.
He stated: "If I'm not mistaken, the verdict simply declares him innocent.
It’s clear that everything that happened was not good for tennis, but these kinds of accidents happen in life.
I believe in Jannik; I’m absolutely convinced he never tried to cheat or gain an advantage over others by any means.
He is a person with very strong morals. So I don’t want to question the verdict.
There are protocols to follow, and if they need to be changed, we must work on that. For me, the case is closed."
