The flight of Russian talents continues on the WTA tour. Polina Kudermetova, world number 104 and sister of Veronika, has quietly changed her sporting nationality to represent Uzbekistan.

The list of female players renouncing their Russian nationality is growing. Polina Kudermetova, currently ranked 104th in the world and sister of Veronika, has opted for Uzbekistan.
Neither the player nor the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation has yet officially announced the news, but the flag update has indeed been made on the ITF and WTA websites.
