Not a single one has ice or proper pillows," Pegula and Isner criticize European hotels

In a social media exchange, American tennis player Pegula shared criticisms about the quality of hotels in Europe. With much of the season taking place in Europe, the world No. 4 player recounted her experiences and listed issues she finds problematic:
"There’s no ice anywhere. If you ask for it, they give you one ice cube. When they lock the air conditioning and you have to go downstairs and force them to unlock it so it can go below 75°. Also, the pillows aren’t pillows—they’re the equivalent of a paper towel. The room key controls the electricity, and they never give you a spare key, so if housekeeping comes, they take it, and you come back to a room that’s 80 degrees."
Isner, for his part, doubled down on the criticism in the *Nothing Major* podcast: "Not a single European hotel has ice, and the air conditioning automatically shuts off in the middle of the night." Querrey then chimed in, stating: "I haven’t seen a single ice cube in Europe in 20 years.
