Rafael Nadal's Congratulations to Ruud on Madrid Title: "It's Well Deserved"
Casper Ruud clinched his first Masters 1000 title yesterday in Madrid after previous runner-up finishes in Miami (2022) and Monte-Carlo (2024).
Shortly after securing the biggest title of his career, the world No. 7 received congratulations from Rafael Nadal on X (formerly Twitter):
"Congratulations, Casper! I’m very happy for you and your team. It’s well deserved!"
As a reminder, Nadal defeated Ruud in the 2022 Roland-Garros final. Last year, the two also teamed up in doubles at the Bastad tournament.
