Rain of Withdrawals in Kitzbühel, Including Titleholder Berrettini

Next week, the ATP 250 tournament in Kitzbühel will take place on Austrian clay. However, four players registered for the tournament have ultimately withdrawn in the last few hours.
Last year's champion after a well-controlled final against Hugo Gaston, Matteo Berrettini will not be present to defend his title. Injured in Rome and forced to retire against Casper Ruud in the third round, the Italian, who missed the French Open, returned for Wimbledon.
But the 36th-ranked player in the world, lacking rhythm on grass, was defeated in the first round by Kamil Majchrzak (4-6, 6-2, 6-4, 5-7, 6-3). Last week, 29-year-old Berrettini had already withdrawn from the Gstaad tournament, where he was also the defending champion, deciding to take a break from the circuit.
Three other players won't be in Kitzbühel next week: Marin Cilic, Hugo Dellien, and Laslo Djere. The Bolivian, affected by a right elbow injury, retired against Vit Kopriva in Bastad in the last few hours and won't be able to participate in Austria.
As a result, four players will directly join the main draw of this tournament. They are Filip Misolic, Sebastian Ofner, Jaime Faria, and Thiago Seyboth Wild.
