Schedule: Arthur Fils to Compete in Tournaments Before the US Open

Absent from the courts since suffering a stress fracture in his back during the French Open, Arthur Fils had to skip the grass season. Having reached the quarterfinals in Halle and the round of 16 at Wimbledon last year, the Frenchman was unable to defend his chances in 2025. Consequently, he missed out on 300 ATP ranking points.

Now seemingly recovered, the 21-year-old player is eager to make an impact during the American tour, starting with the Canada Masters 1000 (July 26 - August 7), a tournament where he was eliminated by fellow Frenchman Humbert in the previous edition. Also signed up for doubles, he will team up with the World No. 8, Ben Shelton.

Next, Arthur Fils will travel to Ohio to participate in the Cincinnati tournament (August 7 - 18). In 2024, he lost in the second round to local player Nakashima (7-5, 7-6). But that's not all; he will follow up with another event a week before the start of the US Open. Indeed, the native of Bondoufle has decided to take part in Winston-Salem (August 17 - 23).
