Sinner defeats Marozsan and reaches the semifinals in Beijing
Jannik Sinner earned his 40th victory of the season on Monday against Fabian Marozsan in the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 in Beijing.
The Italian dispatched the first set by breaking his opponent's serve three times and won 6-1.
The second set was much tighter, as the Hungarian managed to break Sinner and serve for the set.
Unfortunately for him, he then collapsed, losing 12 of the next 13 points played.
Sinner wins 6-1, 7-5 and will face Alex de Minaur in the semifinals, who benefited from Jakub Mensik's withdrawal.
