Dallas Shapovalov

The last top 10 Denis Shapovalov beat was Taylor Fritz, on October 26, 2022 in Vienna.

Since then, the Canadian hadn't played at a level commensurate with his talent. However, he returned to form by winning the ATP 500 in Dallas.

In the process, he beat three members of the top 10: Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul and Casper Ruud.

Thanks to this excellent result, he is now ranked 32nd in the world. A good start to the American tour of Indian Wells and Miami.

He will first play in Acapulco the week of February 24.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.
