"Tennis at Wimbledon is different this year," says Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz advanced to the Wimbledon quarterfinals this Sunday by defeating Andrey Rublev. In the press conference, the Spaniard also stated that the playing conditions are quite different from previous years.
However, he expressed satisfaction with his level of play: "I remember a bit of my quarterfinal last year, the level of that match.
If I’m not mistaken, I played against Tommy Paul on Court 1—it was a very good match, very high-level tennis. This year, it’s been a bit different. Tennis at Wimbledon is different, with different sensations.
I see everything a bit slower, the balls slower, a different feel. Today, I played my best match of the tournament so far, and I feel very good. Obviously, at Roland-Garros, it was completely different because I played more clay-court matches before the tournament, so I’m trying to regain those sensations.
I’m very proud and satisfied with my performance today, much better than in previous matches, so I hope to keep improving and feel even more comfortable."
Alcaraz will face Cameron Norrie in the next round, who defeated Nicolas Jarry.
