The Errani/Paolini duo wins the women's doubles at Roland-Garros
After their victory in Rome, the pair of Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini continues their success at Roland-Garros. They won the final against Anna Danilina and Aleksandra Krunic with a score of 6-4, 2-6, 6-1.
This is Errani’s second doubles title at Roland-Garros, the first being in 2012 with another compatriot, Roberta Vinci. The Italian becomes the first player to win both the women’s doubles and mixed doubles titles since Bethanie Mattek-Sands in 2015.
As for Paolini, this is her first Grand Slam victory in doubles.
