The Sabalenka-Gauff Showdown, the Men's Doubles Final: Saturday's Schedule at Roland Garros
The Roland Garros organizers have unveiled the schedule for June 7, 2025.
Sabalenka will step onto Court Philippe-Chatrier to face Gauff starting at 3 p.m., in a clash between the world No. 1 and No. 2. This marks the first such final since 2018, when Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki defeated Romania’s Simona Halep at the Australian Open.
A three-time Grand Slam champion (Australian Open 2023, 2024, and US Open 2024), the Belarusian has never advanced past the semifinals in Paris. She will face the American, who was a finalist in 2022 but lost to Swiatek at just 18 years old.
The two players are tied in their Grand Slam head-to-head (1-1) and on the WTA Tour (5-5). However, Sabalenka defeated the 21-year-old in the Madrid final last May.
Following the women’s final, spectators will witness the men’s doubles final, where the British duo Salisbury-Skupski will take on Granollers-Zeballos.
