Tsitsipas dreams of becoming neighbors with Djokovic in Athens: "We could train together!"
According to local media, Djokovic has indeed settled in Athens. The Serbian is also said to have enrolled his children in an English school.
Meanwhile, Tsitsipas was asked about the topic and views the latter's arrival in his home country of Greece favorably. He even hopes their paths will cross often, especially on the training courts.
"Djokovic is moving to Athens? I hope we'll be neighbors so we can train together.
In the meantime, I feel much better than two or three weeks ago. But I don't want to promise too much, because right now, I'm trying to overcome the difficulties I've experienced in recent weeks. I'm not sure yet, but I'll do my best."
For context, the Serbian decided to settle in Greece following his support for student protests demanding new elections. A gesture that did not please the Serbian government and President Aleksandar Vučić, who publicly criticized him.
