US Open ATP: Djokovic Dispatches Tien, Bonzi Knocks Out Medvedev Again, Moutet Eliminated

Corentin Moutet made his debut this Sunday against Jordan Thompson. The Frenchman was the favorite since the Australian had experienced physical issues that forced him to withdraw at Wimbledon.
Thompson made his return to the court in Cincinnati with a heavy defeat against Adrian Mannarino. But Thompson is experienced in Grand Slams and intended to use that against the Frenchman.
He ultimately won 6-2, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 and will face Mannarino in the next round.
As for Novak Djokovic, he navigated the Learner Tien trap relatively easily, winning 6-1, 7-6, 6-2. He will face Zachary Svajda in the next round.
Benjamin Bonzi faced Daniil Medvedev again, after their first-round match at Wimbledon. It was a repeat for the Frenchman, though he gave himself a scare.
While leading 2 sets to 0 and having a match point on his serve, the Russian managed to come back into the contest and take the next two sets.
Despite a break down in the final set, Bonzi managed to fight back and won 6-3, 7-5, 6-7, 0-6, 6-4. He will face Marcos Giron in the second round.
Nothing is going right for Medvedev, who took out his frustration on his racket at the end of the match.
