Video - Atmane Causes Interruption of His Match… Because of a Cooler

Terence Atmane will not win the Wuxi Challenger. After claiming titles in Busan and Guangzhou in recent weeks, the Frenchman was eliminated in the semifinals of the Chinese tournament in the past few hours.
Defeated by Alex Bolt (6-3, 6-4), the No. 3 seed and world No. 119 this week will not compete in the final. His eight-match winning streak came to an end against the Australian.
Early in the match, with the score still at 2-1 in Bolt’s favor, the Australian hit a down-the-line backhand winner as Atmane approached the net.
In the heat of the moment, the frustrated 23-year-old Frenchman kicked a cooler, knocking it over and causing a temporary halt to the match (see video below).
Eventually, play resumed, and Bolt prevailed over Atmane in straight sets. In the final, he will face Sun Fajing, who defeated Ilia Simakin in the other semifinal (3-6, 6-2, 6-3).
