Video - The stratospheric net point won by Djokovic against Kecmanovic at Wimbledon
A seven-time Wimbledon champion, Novak Djokovic has mastered the grass of Centre Court to perfection.
In his third-round match, the Serbian—still fighting for a 25th Grand Slam—faced his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic. The first set was evenly contested until 3-3, 40-40, when Djokovic won an extraordinary point (see video below).
After a few spectacular shots exchanged at the net by both players, Djokovic managed to recover with a beautiful defensive lob. He chose to stay at the net to pressure his opponent, and after a first soft smash, the rally continued before being sealed with a stunning winning dive.
A point that brought the Wimbledon crowd to their feet and once again showcased Djokovic's incredible athletic ability—even at 38 years old.
