Video - The Unbelievable Shot Attempted by Droguet on Match Point in Umag
Titouan Droguet had the best week of his career on the main tour, coming through the qualifiers in Umag and then reaching the quarterfinals.
After four matches under his belt, the Frenchman was stopped just short of the semifinals by Damir Dzumhur in three sets (3-6, 7-5, 6-2). Clearly out of solutions in the final set and physically drained, Droguet attempted an almost impossible shot on match point (see video below).
For a spot in the final, Dzumhur will face Carlos Taberner tomorrow. As for Droguet, he will return to the top 150 on Monday.
