WTA Rankings: Mboko Jumps 61 Spots, Osaka Nears Return to Top 20

After twelve days of intense competition in Montreal, which concluded last Thursday, the WTA rankings were updated this Monday.
Aryna Sabalenka, the world No. 1 with 12,010 points, leads the rankings for the 43rd consecutive week. She is still followed by Coco Gauff (7,669 points) and then Iga Swiatek (6,933 points) on the podium.
The only notable change is Elena Rybakina’s return to the world No. 10 spot after her semifinal run in Canada. Paula Badosa, injured since Wimbledon and already withdrawn from the US Open, drops out of the top 10 and now sits at No. 12.
Victoria Mboko, who won her first-ever WTA 1000 title at 18, made the biggest leap of the week, climbing from No. 81 to No. 24. This entry into the top 25 secures her seeded status in New York. Naomi Osaka, who lost in the Montreal final, moved up 24 spots to claim the No. 25 position.
On the French side, Loïs Boisson’s ranking (No. 47) remains unchanged. Léolia Jeanjean and Elsa Jacquemot follow closely at No. 95 and No. 96, respectively.
