Why is it so difficult for you lot to admit that Vesnina right now is playing better than Cibulkova.

Lets not forget she also had a marathon match yesterday.

Secondly she has won grandslams as doubles player meaning Elena is going to hit shots with extreme angles and will return diffucult serves with ease, speed and precision.

Vesnina played doubles too with Makarova so fatigue factor is definitely out of question

That's the problem with Cibu, if she doesn't develop her game with more variation than just a huge forehand + super retrieving ability by running all over the court, she will always struggle towards the end of grandslams, esp when there is no tied break. Her athleticism and strong legs can only take her so far
