@Dixie: you should brush up your history knowledge. Russians were not well-known for looting and burning villages during warfare, that etiquette belongs to some other armies. Russian (red army) was well-known for fcuking without much exception wherever they went through on their way to Berlin.

@Bastion Saw the full interview Novak gave to BBC, he is very candid about all the events(he calls it saga) and understands public mood and in the same vein asks for respect for his decision.



Sounds highly reasonable and also is not very perturbed, in fact even cool about missing some events at the moment. He says he has long term ambitions and is not looking at the short term. Maybe what he said earlier about playing till 40 is a serious plan and he is very much working towards it



I hate his father though, for some class less comments he makes, when he was so disrespectful towards Federer before 2019 Wimby final, when he was saying that age 37/38, he should be looking after kids and not playing tennis etc etc. I hope he has a different rule for his son and Novak plays for another 5 years
