I may hate dojokovic... may really not want him to win matches from heart.... even hate him for his arrogant behavior on and off court.... even hate him more for most arrogant fans of his.... but..... how can I hate the fact that he does some unbelievable things on the tennis court.... how can I hate the fact that he has nerve as strong as titanium.... how can I hate the fact that he is silently intruding all the records that are and strongly putting his contendership for GOAT... and lastly he is the world's best player currently and soon going to be the longest regning world no 1 beating Roger the great.... EXCELLENT MEDVEDEV ANSWER TO TENNIS REPORTER, SHOWING BIG RESPECT TO NOVAK

I only now watched Med's pressy after his semi match, what a great character by him towards Novak. ... something many haters here and many of the hater media can learn a lot from.

At the 11th minute, some reporter mentioned Novak's words after his semi, in which he says honestly, when asked by Mats Wilander, about the new gen going for the 3 goats to dethrone them, Novak answers:

that they still have a way to go and some things to learn and that he not just going to hand over the titles, the non-goats must fight for it.

... which is of course all true, the goats will be fighting until the end, good on them.

The reporter wanted to work Med up a bit, but Med kept his cool and said ... and it is interesting I nowhere see this important comments by Med in all the media articles about his pressy, it is all missing, Med says with all honesty, with a big smile, friendly and in good spirit:

I believe Novak that he is not going to hand it all over! ... I trust him (in that)
You have to be your best for 5 hours to beat him, physically and mentally
I like Novak, I appreciate him as a tennis player and as a person
I don't take his words as negative ... I am also motivated without those words

Win or lose, big big respect for you Daniil, that is just great midst all those (unfortunately also many in the media), that keeps on blowing the unfortunate hate against the nr. 1 Champ.

Now all those misguided haters supporting Med solely because Novak is on the other side ... shame on you, the guy you support appreciate and like Novak both as a player and person (sorry Nick and fan club, you lead a sorry hate group.... in history you will be forgotten, not Novak, win or lose tomorrow), so he is not part of your ganging up on Novak.

Somewhat many of us wants nole to loose this including me... but few things we got to consider and understand before the match. Dojokovic is a player who has never say die attitude and never hardly looses his nerve biggest example 2019 wimby finals and I would also say last year AO finals thiem was a better player just lost the match on nerves...
2ndly djokovic knows how it feels to hold the slam he did it 17 times and with his performance its quiet clear he is hungry for quiet a few. 3rd we have always seen the big 3 always raise there level in key matches so we might see dojokovic suddenly not making those errors that he was making in the earlier rounds... and last a person who has never won a gs facing the no 1 player with 17 gs , his nerves can't be imagined... if dojokovic plays his 70% then also he is the favourite... if some how dani wins it... we gonna say he played his heart out... so my heart want medvedev to win but mind says dojokovic...

Djokovic is mentally stronger. This match makes me remember 2019 when Rafa was on fire coming into the AO finals. But in the finals nothing worked for him. Novak is simply too good 😌

I am a Fedal fan but I love Novak too. Like the guy has never lost an AO final. Can't see him losing.

Cheering for Medvedev. He's ready to win this mentally and physically.

Med will very likely win. But I'm still throwing my support behind Novak just because he's the 'black sheep' everyone seems to hate

This Novak hate is starting to get old... you don’t have to support him, but why actively hate him? That is such a waste of time and energy.

I have been a fan of Novak’s game since 2011. But as years passed by, his massive Forehand shots started to disappear out of his game. Just go and see his matches in 2011 guys. He will set up the point with his monstrous Forehand. Commentators would mention his game in that way. When he was not 100%, he showed glimpses of his powerful Forehand on rare points in this year AO.

Right now, Rafa has the most powerful Forehand. I voted for Medvedev because I could see his game has improved quite a lot. He will overpower Novak this Sunday both from Forehand and backhand side. He does not have the variation but he will simply overpower Novak and win his 1st slam title. I hope Novak will come back stronger. I don’t see him winning AO this time.

I really hope Novak will win but if anyone should dethrone him, let it be Medvedev.
