That was a hindrance. He clearly stopped playing and then remembered that the lines are automatically called. A good sportsman would have conceded the point there as his reaction obviously interfered with Novak's rhythm during the point.

This result has made my day,

I wish that I'd been able to stay awake earlier this morning, to watch the 3rd set, but time difference caught up with me 🥱😴

As for the contentious point that some are arguing over, Novak actually played one more stroke after he said that they'd both stopped playing, so he lost the point fair & square.
