Wtf this match is doing on center court????

tongchunwei
Somebody please explain the criteria to me for centre court billing? Cos im completely confused how two unseeded players get centre court, over say Pliskova vs Hsieh Su-Wei or Novak Djokovic.... what the hell is going on?

This is wonderful. Keep going Coco.

This is why Coco earned the right to be on Centre Court. Champion's heart and what a great show she puts on. Amazing only 15 years old!

What is the reason and why Corl is playing all matches on Grand stand and court no.1 this is not fair with other new players...,........Why.,...,...?

Anticipate
Why is this on center court and not Djoker?...or any of the other matches that are left today?

People who bought centre court tickets must be crying ??

This is what I don't like , let the young Players earn these Centre Court matches , if this was a QF or Semi than the Centre Court makes sense but it's just a third round and this just means lot of players who have actually proven themselves get shafted to outside courts

Crowds reaction to Koko breaking says it all!

Cori was waiting for that prediction to start winning.

It still doesn't matter I don't see the winner here beating halep to be fair
nice run

Fuck off justin. Ur argument is completely cookie-cutter, trope-infested tripe. This 15yr old don't deserve centre court, wheras higher seeds have earned that privilege. So we can complain about the scheduling as we see fit. Piss off. I can see why alladin can't stand the sight of u mate.

I'm on the Coco train. This girl is on?.

Found it. This is far more enjoyable and entertaining than seeing a 15 time Slam Champion win yet another match. Women's tennis is so vibrant, exciting and open... I'm loving the WTA tour over the last few years. Back to this match... Excellent battle.. Winner plays Halep❤️

Cori has won all matches since the qualifying in straight sets. She lost her first set today against Hercog. And you can see by her reaction that she needs to grow a bit more to handle the pressure better. And in the previous 4 matches she has been of an impressive regularity. She lost two sevice games overall.
She also has 3 more matches on her legs than her opponent.

What a fantastic match, very well played Cori ?????, you definitely deserved to win today, please stay grounded & you never know what might happen, once again many, many congratulations. ?✌

Wimbledon made an interesting decision to put her on Center Court, but I can understand the appeal this young woman has and the attention she is getting after beating Venus

tennis4england
The young lady just beat one of the greatest Wimbledon champions in the history of the sport. For that reason there is a lot of worldwide attention on her story. Tennis is a entertainment event. Her story sales tickets and put butts in the seats. I think it's great she is on Centre Court. Felix and Coco stories are a shot in the arm of Tennis!

The two women’s matches on Center Court also means that schedule might allow to squeeze in AM and SW at the end, for their mixed doubles match

Aladdin may be right..last night my wife told me to give her 12 inches and make it hurt..what could I do?..I gave her 4 inches 3 times and hit her with a brick.

Omf.. What a match

christinenelles88
Isn't that special! At 15 years young. More fight than a lot of players who have been around a while. I won't mention names as we all can name many! Ah, young and inspired.

hibakuxa
I don't think she's ready for Halep as well, but she is 15 and has nothing to loose. Maybe against Halep she won't feel the pressure as much. In my opinion, one of the problems for her in this match was when she felt the pressure to win. She's 15 she needs to play and enjoy her game. Right now she's here to learn. It's already impressive what she has accomplished

Mr.chess
Looks like Cori will win just as I had predicted all along. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Aladdin. That's why they call me The Predictor and whisper my name in tennis circles around the world.
