She's had a couple 250 events, she has alot of experience to get so idk why people are acting as if she's been on tour for ages, she'll make mistakes and learn alot, there should be no pressure on her at all this year

I can't stand the smiling. It's almost disrespectful to her opponent

Ratatouille faking an injury. How disgusting. Such a low act

WayneR
What is she laughing about in between points, I think she knows she is going 🏠

Emma is giving it a good go, credit to her, this is much better play than a few weeks ago.

Go Emma. Keep going!
These people desperate for Emma to lose must look for therapy once again.

@HBiCB, Emma has a blister on her hand, how is that faking? Or do you mean she's pretending that it's impacting her more than it is.?
2
Tennis007
What a fake. Taking a time out at a critical point.
2
WayneR
Yeah, I didn't watch her at the US but this is not good from the kid.
2
VillageIdiotDan
I hope Emma can give it her all but I anticipate she fades away very quickly here... hoping I jinx it and she wins with a bagel lol

samiruffsankey
Keep in Emma.

Reneliwe Mocke
Emma can beat Halep. 🤣

Anette and Muguruza went out today. Feels like the wta. Somehow Sabalenka is still here

Wta 250's don't interest her
1
Reneliwe Mocke
She wouldn't enter them if not interested

WayneR
Danka has played very well so far.. she can do it in 3 as well if it goes the distance.

VillageIdiotDan
@Maria. She did that in the US Open, its irritating isn't it lol. As a Brit I do support her but i have to be levelled with my idol worshipping
1
VillageIdiotDan
I think she's trying to calm herself down, calling on the joy she played with in the US Open but it would certainly motivate me if I were against her, it comes across as smug/superior

This is a lovely victory from Danka, good play all around from her.

Emma did try her best🤗

Lol never let it be said Sami gives up!

Emma did herself proud considering the blister on her hand. A good even match

Congrats on your win Danka 🇲🇪👏👏👌

A nice try from
Emma 🇬🇧 today, she's still lacks experience on the main tour, but is still young & I wish her luck for the rest of the season, I don't think the blisters on her hand can have helped.

Winner faces Halep. Can go either way
VillageIdiotDan
Danka had a hell of a run in Charleston last year and has won nothing much since. Let's hope that continues!!! GO Emma
Bryan N Judie Eastwood
Easy win for Emma. Must try to win in 2 sets and save her energy for Halep. She can beat her too.
samiruffsankey
Really hope Emma can get to play Halep this tournament, they have been close a couple of times.
