People shit on both of these guys way to often, meanwhile the pair of them are putting together one of the best rivalries on the tour in the last few years, quality matches across the board, great drama and top tennis every time they meet!

I think Daniil likes to be underestimated. He is clever enough and comparatively flexible. Once he was at the top and understand that the only wsy to be the best is to adjust his play style for grass and especially for clay surface

Rublev is better on clay. The only male russian player who won RG was Kafelnikov in 96, or 97, cant remember exactly

And also two years ago he defeated Rafa

Oh yeah. Yevgeny. He did win the French in 1996, and the the AO in 1999. And the Olympics in 2000. So basically, Russians aren't too dominant on clay.
