As a fellow Aussie blanking out the Russian flag is pointless and proves nothing. Embarassing really

Sport is often used as a vehicle to bring about change so mixing it with politics is inevitable. Yes it's true it's not the players fault but you have to look at the bigger picture. Sport played a crucial role in abolishing apartheid in south Africa. Back then, not many wanted to play with south Africa and sport helped to change that. If sport can bring about a positive change then by all means should be mixed with politics. It's the biggest platform you can provide. Why do you think athletes voice their opinions? They have the platform to make a change and it should absolutely be encouraged.

They're blocking the Belarusian flag, Saba and Vika's country. Belarus is facilitating I guess the passing of Russian armament and troops through there. Political bullshit that the athletes should never pay a price for. It's not like they agree with the war.

Really solid match. Gonna say aryna in 3

Sabagoat ftw tough match for sure though
KingJames
Sabalenka should win this in a close match against the Swede because she is a much stronger player. I think older too.
KingJames
Once again just like they did in Azerenka match, they block the Russian flag on the tv score by just placing a blank, white marker...but then allows a Russian player to still play? Seems a little goofy...so a blank flag is supose to show what..?🤔
MasterSlug
... or maybe not lol
phill5158
Also Sabalenka is my fav to win it all
KingJames
That's all she wrote for the poor Swede. Sabalenka has proven she is much to strong a server for Bencic. Just like Hudson says, "game over, man."

Way to go Aryna!

I agree with you Corina
