Isn't anyone surprised as to how Iga, with such limited abilities managed to rake up 37 wins on the bounce? I mean it's ridiculous if you think about it. If you actually analyse her game, she plays just two shots, forehand and backhand with some spin here and there but these 2 shots have managed to win her 37 matches which is astonishing and says a lot about the quality of women's tennis. Today she was exposed by Cornet, forced out of her comfort zone and what we saw was a player who is so pathetic at the net and the slice is non-existent., 2 shots which are absolutely essential on grass. Please don't ever compare her to Barty.. Barty was head and shoulders above her or anyone else in the women's game currently.

Alize will need to use her bag of tricks to win this one. If she can frustrate Iga and make it a long match she stands a chance. I’m not counting on it though.
