@Jozef. She’s on 2 slams, not 23. Iga is not on the same level as Serena at all.

I like to see anyone in WTA who can detronise 1GA in next 3 years... but I think there noone out there really... She will be the GOAT of this centuary.
It look like most consistant player out there right now.

The Boys
Hard courts also becomming Her surface btw.

The Boys
Steffy Graf are the GOAT so far btw...

Samson Kemba
Josef , how many slams Steffi won? You biased low-key blower ;)

Good luck Pegula! Time to level up! Cool and calm!!

Here some stats brought up by @Kaito Kid:

"...-most weeks at WNo 1
-22 majors at 30y of age
-Gold Slam (only her men and women)
She always had a splendid behaviour, never assault empire or breake racket.

Not becouse Margaret Court has 2 more Majors then Steffi.
There is so much more about tennis and the sport then that..."

Hmm. I don’t trust Aryna yet, but if she plays like she did today, there’s a chance. Although Aryna never plays well against Iga.

hibakuxa
The problem with Aryna is getting to her nerves.

For some reason, I love Pegula's rich b*tch vibes. And that's why I'm pulling for her, lol

Lol. Winning the Sunshine double doesn’t make you the goat. Otherwise, Azarenka would be the goat.

samiruffsankey
Hope Jess can win but I seriously doubt it. If she can win a set, she can win but I sense Iga winning in 2.

Someone taking this to personal - isn't that right Kemba?
cool down my boy.

It look like 1GA are one of them pure souls...
she never upsed empire or breake her racquet...she is alway gentle and easy going.

That is one of the essensial factors shaping true greateness.

@Jozef. Iga doesn’t upset umpires but she does have tactics to get into opponents heads I’ve noticed. So she’s not all innocent. Serena is the 🐐!

Iga's last three losses have come from power players. So Jessica needs to just bring the power consistently.

Kian Clarke
Didn't iga distracted Davis this us open or something.
1
samiruffsankey
I didn’t see that Kian. I’m not necessarily referring to a single match she just always holds the game up etc.

samiruffsankey
Think Iga’s pulling through to the final now. Garcia is the only player that could stop her left.

hibakuxa
Sabalenka on hard court... She might pull it through to the final but I don't expect it to be an easy match for Iga.
1
hibakuxa
I didn't expect to see Jess debreaking every time she lost her serve throughout the 2nd set. She has done it 4 times now. I thought the game was lost for her many times now but she's still fighting.
1
hibakuxa
That's a tough break to digest on a 5 all match: from 40-0 to a double fault on the last point. Can she do it a 5th time?
1
hibakuxa
Great break point from both players

Md Foizer H.
Want 3rd set.

As Mick Jeggar says: You can't always get what you want! ;)
Nice match.
