He needs a proper coach. His last match he yelled at his dad to shut up. That's a losing situation there. He doesn't improve. There's a stubborn quality about him. As well as an ego problem.

@Andre..... he needs 3 sets for the win, in a Grand Slam.

I'm confident Alcaraz will win this ... if he plays well. But we've all seen him show up without his A-game and lose. Which could easily happen if Tsitsipas brings his A+ game. If I was a gambler I would go with Alcaraz, but tennis being the way it is, not putting any money on this match.

It's quite a funny situation, with several top players playing well enough to be considered, but also misfiring at times the last couple of months

The problem is that tsitsi is not a great defensive player and Carlos is explosive

Tipsy has a lot of issues holding him back, dad, attitude, mentality generally. Like Zev he has not really added to his game much since exploding onto the tour with some really good results. Compared to the obvious all round ability of Alc and then seeing Sinner build and build and build on his game, he just seems that bit inflexible.

All that said he does have the A game to take a slam at some point.

Really do enjoy watching Carlos' net game. What a touch!!

I do find it wierd how on court coaching can work that well. With tennis being so much about feel, instinct and compounded training, you would have thought the player would need to be the one to make the changes. Bit like trying to drive with just the sat nav, rather than fully watching the road - you listen too much, you'll hit some kerbs.

How is tsitsipas so bad and still considered a top player (at least once upon a time). Even before going into the game Alcaraz knew he would win this (5-0 against him).
