Kiran, this season there has been a new champion in every tournament except for 2. This shows how open the tour is. If you think only Rafa and Novak are threats to Roger, then it's a big mistake. Gael, Dominic, Fabio, Stan are all dangerous on clay. Come the hard and grass all the big serves have a say.
I think the tour is much more open this season than we all think. I am expecting new GS champions this season.

@Jeff West: It's true that Nadal has an amazing Forehand that can do some serious damage in clay. He cannot win every single time relying on his Forehand. If he has an off day with his Forehand side he is doomed to have a difficult match. This is where he is lacking. He should improve his serve and backhand. He lacks all round game.

Also, even with his Forehand working, he won't be able to beat Novak Djokovic this year on any surface. Novak has the mental edge. In tennis, if you have the mental advantage you are bound to win. I know this is difficult for you to digest. You can have some medicine during Novak vs Rafa matches to avoid heart attack.

If Federer plays this way on grass......
No doubt he will beat Novak or Kevin in straight sets.
