I won't even dignify that 'jealous' remark with a comment, except that it's a puerile false presumption on your part. Also Makarova, Suarez Navarro, Kuznetsova etc have all had similar/ better performances and more recently - so why doesn't the press make a fuss of them? Not good looking enough, ffs? If I'm jealous of anybody's success, it would be Serena

I think Genie's got this but I'll be cheering for Coco.

Well done coco!! Hopefully Bouchard takes this as a learning experience, she played very well!

If Bouchard wasn't as nice to look at and wear skimpy clothing, I wonder if the media would even talk about her? She has shown nothing in the last 2 yrs, but every time she wins or loses a match, there needs to be a story.
Makarova was in the top 10 too for awhile & Suarez Navarro too, although you never hear a word about them. Interesting the way our culture dismisses those not considered 'beautiful' by some people's standards.
Bouchard wins 2 matches, maybe 3 and the media are scrambling. Give me a break. There is a reason she is sitting at...what? 47...something like that. Jmo

Genie raises testosterone levels in those rowdy Aussie's bloodstreams.

I absolutely agree with you! Top tennis news here in U.K. This morning is "Bouchard lost ..." etc., she's not even British. There is nothing in her tennis history to warrant this level of attention, and there are others - the ones you mention - much more worthy of comment. I am truly sick of hearing about her 'comeback' (wtf?!) as if she was a top ranked, major winning player.

Kuznetsova should be on this court - top 10 seed. This is a match between 2 unseeded players, it's ridiculous
