One thing for sure if federer serve is like this he is not going to make it at all. He is getting broken very easily even by high ranked players. And federer serve is regarded as one of the best in the world.

Can't see see fed ever equalling Connors tally of 109 singles titles
Varun Reddy

Most of Connors tournaments were in smaller tournaments. Most of Rogers were at the elite level.

If he keeps starting all his matches badly, sooner or later he'll be knocked out by someone like Zverev or Tsitsipas

I was never worried about this match. The real struggles will be in the semis and finals.

He is able to break back against lower ranked players but top ones don't give a chance to break back so he ll lose the match there....

It now looks like not just Rafa's 17, but even Roger's 20 is in danger to be run over by tennis machine novak

He has to beat Tsitsipas or Medvedev before Zverev and they are both on fire. Especially Tsitsipas.

No I feel federer is trying really too hard... Trying to be over aggressive. All the shots that he is playing he is literally blasting.
