The easy pick would've been pliskova, bearing in mind their h2h, but I had a feeling Jo could do it.

If Konta plays like she has the last 2 rounds, that's still not enough to beat Pliskova.

Pliskova has not been very convincing so far, and Jo has played well. If Jo can really serve well, mo e well and not meltdown, she stands a chance here. I agree that Jo usually does fall apart, but I'm not sure it's at that stage here, not just yet. Go Johanna ??

I like Czech tennis (especially the ladies, as the gents are in a slump atm), but Jo deserves it more. Kaja has been very picky/lazy lately, whether to fight till the end or just let some matches go. Has commented that she's rich enough already, etc. So I have doubts about her commitment. Jo will be hungrier and will win in 3.
