He’s played a lot of stressful tennis over the past two or so weeks

Close match. These wins help build confidence for young Ben. Sinner won't be going anywhere...he'll continue to improve as well.

Yeah big win, his half of the draw looks favourable now, good chance of making the final.

This will be interesting
Diego M.
Sinner will win
Diego M.
Sinner is gifting ben the match, so much unforced errors, and from places were he isnt even forced to make them.
Snoopy 10
Ginger Ninja, is certainly making hard work in trying to get the win
devfek
Sinner playing some way below his best here but still in this.

Could be Ben has talent of his own.
Abhi Ramireddy
People hate on Ben too much, all the boomers who can’t accept celebrating after points
devfek
Oh he's definitely got talent & he's great for the tour, but Sinner seemed to have raised his game the last few weeks & not showing it here.
Abhi Ramireddy
That being said, let’s go jannik
Abhi Ramireddy
I mean sinner should win this, I’m wondering if fatigues is going to start coming into play
VillageIdiotDan
Good point Abhi, with sustained success comes this risk
Abhi Ramireddy
And there it is
VillageIdiotDan
Wow, massive win, shame Sinner couldn't bring his best but Ben had to take his chances and did
Snoopy 10
Congrats on your win & reaching the qtr final Ben 🇺🇲👏👏👏

Yet another top 10 player bites the dust at this tournament, I would think that fatigue must be a possible cause in some cases.

But you have to take your chances when they're offered.

Ben is still waiting for someone to call him... keeps making that sign.
bogbot.tc
Fatigue is a factor at this end of season. Plus those already highly likely to get to WTF tend to need some form of break around now. Those on the fringes though can make a late push to WTF. It would not surprise me to see a couple of late and unexpected qualifiers for the top 8 this year.
Pritsi
He’s dialled in 💪🏾💪🏾
