But as I've said before, actually both players agreed to replay the point in question, but it was the chair umpire who awarded the point in favour of Jack. So you can't blame Jack for the decision.

@bogbot tc. There was an incorrect call because the chair umpire didn't see the alleged double bounce. So the points could have been replayed, but as Aladdin Sane has already pointed out, the chair umpire decided to award the point to Jack Draper.

I don't disagree with you on much Aladdin, but I'm not OK on this.

Media quote to try to explain my view and why Draper should have taken a different path:

"With replays vindicating the Canadian's claim, tennis fans deemed Jack Draper a "cheater," arguing that it was improbable for the Brit to be unaware that his ball had hit the ground.Tennis journalist Jon Wertheim also offered his perspective, recalling Andy Roddick's sportsmanship towards Fernando Verdasco at the 2005 Italian Open. While holding three match points, the American overruled the line judge's call to concede a crucial point to Verdasco, which allowed the Spaniard to make a comeback in the contest and secure a remarkable victory.

Although Wertheim acknowledged that players aren't obligated to make such calls when replays are available, he questioned why Draper chose not to take the "high road" and concede the point to Auger-Aliassime."

It's a shame for me personally, as I would be absolutely behind Jack this fortnight otherwise.

Let's hope De Minaur sends Draper the Deceiver home.

Let's also hope the umpire keeps and eye on Jack and where the ball is landing.

Solid H2H and an in-form Alex can do this, but Drapper has win every set so far. Let see!

The commentary team on Sky had just been saying that it was the 1st season where Jack had remained injury free.

Commentators curse 🤔☹️

Sorry Aladdin, but I can't support cheats and feel Jack let the game down somewhat. I agree with Roddick on the draper incident

Jack had the option to concede the point, but chose not to and pretended he didn't know where the ball had gone, then tried to back track when he realised the crowd knew better.

Replaying the point was never a viable option, as there would need to be a reason to replay, like a incorrect out call or some other distraction.
