Might be a 3 setter, Venus can be a tough player on a good day.?

I have complete respect for Venus and I understand that she was a legend of the sport. But now she is nowhere there.. And if she continues like this, it looks pathetic and sad. Instead she can do many other good things for the sport right! I fully understand that it's upto her and all that.. But the player who is losing every damn tournament and performing in a pathetic manner is noone but Venus Williams.. That's hard to digest!!

I'm not sure if I will be awake for this one but I will have my houseboy, Hansook, wake me up when it starts. It's almost embarrassing watching poor poor Venus try to play tennis at this late stage in her life. You can see the look in her face. Tired, weathered, hardened dry skin from years of on court torments of losing matches for last 4 or 5 years. Hopefully she will try and put up decent match this time rather than just piss-poor tennis just swinging wildly at balls. Don't have to predict this one when we all know she can't play tennis anymore.

Why is Venus still playing? She deserves a decent retirement life!!

Retirement ?

Venus should retire and am a big Venus and Serena fan. She's keeps piling on a losing record and soon she will drop out of top 100 and finds herself playing qualifying round just to get into main draw and soon organizer will start putting her in lower level court to play which is sad to see and I sure don't want to see that. She's erratic in every aspect of her game including her serve which has become a nightmare to watch. I think she can only win one match in a tournament, that's all she have left. So I think she should RETIRE!!!

If she keeps playing and losing, by the time she retire no one will actually care anymore because is long overdue

We all expected Vika to win, but honestly she should've been in the changing room 30 mins ago.

So Venus did ok & gave her a test.

Vika overcame h2h deficit to beat serena last week. Hope she takes out older sis this week

Rematch of Lexington Round 1, if she plays like she has done at US Open and Cincinnati Vika should take this in straights. Yet something tells me it won’t be that simple...

Different surface so could b a change straight off the bat, but the confidence and matches should help vika win this match hopefully
